    Coming up!
Penryn College Alumni came back to school

We’ve teamed up with education charity Future First, who are helping us to reconnect with our former students and involve them in school life, whether they left last year or 50 years ago.

Last week we welcomed several alumni back to Penryn College where they held a series of talks and sessions with our year 11 students. More on this in next week's Newsletter.

If you are a past student or know of any who’d like to give something back to their old school, or even just stay in touch, then all you need to do is get them to sign up
Aspirations Day
Thanks so much to those of you who came to aspirations day last week, we hope you found it useful. Agreed targets will soon be available on the pupil's profiles on the Virtual Learning Environment. We have had a great response from parents - your support makes the most difference.
Exam Timetables

Individual Candidate Timetables for the January / February Year 11 Mocks and Year 10 End of Semester Tests are now available on the VLE by going to the EXAMS tab on each pupil’s profile page.

Revision sessions are on the ‘clubs and activities’ and timetable under ‘exams’.

Details of forthcoming examination timetables can be found on the website under the Students tab or by clicking here.
Once in a lifetime Opportunity for Year 11s!
They'll live away from home, develop skills to boost their CVs,
and meet amazing, unforgettable people.

Year 11 students were recently visited by NCS, a programme that takes place outside of term time in the summer holidays over 4 weeks. This part-residential experience is focused around fun and discovery, with 30 hours committed to a local community project. It's recognised by employers and looks brilliant on a UCAS form!
